<p>Hello I am a current junior in my high school and I was thinking that I would consider it to be one of my top choices. However I am worried that I am going to end uo in debt if I go there. I have a high class rank (4/430ish) and Im hoping to get at least a 1100- 1200 on my SAT or a 29 -30 on my ACT. I want to hopefully double major in modern languages and someother math/science specialization. I really want to go there and get the Presidents Excellence scholarship, but if I don't then I don't want to go to a punlic university. Has anybody attended St Edward's and has gotten a good financial aid? I would like to hear your story on how you managed to pay for college. Are private universities worth it? (P.S I'm an introverted guy, so I would never think of attending a public nor big university). Should I try other top universities like Rice? Thank you! </p>
If you are a junior right now, start practicing for your SAT’s immediately. What was your PSAT? Test scores will unfortunately or fortunately determine merit for a lot of smaller colleges. Go for as much merit as you can by applying to colleges where you fall above the 75th percentile. Good luck.
