According to surveys of their graduates, 99% of their U.S. eligible graduates obtain residencies, generally their first or second choice.
Hey, there is also a novel available at amazon.com called “The Doctor Factory.” It is written by a former SGU professor about a “facitional” Caribbean med school – but on other forums I have read that it’s definitely about SGU. Read it! It’s juicy! He has written 2 books (The other one is called Rats in Science… and it has some SGU short stories in it).

Regarding your Dual Degree program:

What are the requirements for it? (highschool GPA, SAT 1, SAT 2, any Ec).

Thank you.

There are approximately 17 caribbean med schools. In my opinion there are only 4 Carib med schools that one desiring to practice in the US should consider:

– St. George’s
– American University of the Caribbean
– Ross University
– Saba

Please understand that the above 4 should not be considered as first options for a US resident however the above 4 schools do provide a reasonable alternative for a student that is not accepted in a US med school.
