St. John's University or USP?!?!??!??!??!?!?!11111111111

I need to make a pretty hard decision..

I've been accepted into 0-6 pharmacy program of both St. John's University and University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. For St. John's my costs for everything minus financial aid (the free stuff like: grants/scholarships) is $8380 a year, while for USP, it is $14,630 a year.

I don't know a lot about either school. I've spend a long time searching, and they don't seem to have many thread about them on cc or on google.

USP is a bit better, but St. John's is a lot cheaper. I don't mind the religious aspect of St. John's.

I would just like to know if anyone else has any additional important information about either of these colleges that I should know of!

St. Johns university is located in queens. The campus is beautiful and not overly big but not too small. The pharmacy program is awesome and they are very selective. Congrats on getting in! :)

hahaha wow i have the same exact problem. I too was accepted to both schools for pharmacy. From what i have heard, in finding a job, the school you go to have no bearing on if u get a job. so if you go to either school, youll still end up with a great job. its just a matter of social life, cost, and location that are important. USP is more expensive for you but they offer great internship programs and have internship programs at top pharmaceutical companies. USP is small while st john’s is mid sized-large. St john’s has a beautiful campus and you are closer to the city if you want to travel to the city alot. if this doesnt matter to you, the only difference is how much it costs. if your gonna take loans out, do you wanna pay 50k for 6 years at st johns or 87k at USP? my sister attended st john’s and right out of school she got a job and is now making a 6 figure salary. just visit the places and see which one you like, thats what im gonna do.

loserincali - what were your stats?
