I just applied here, the EASIEST application I have ever done in my life (no recommendations, no essays, no application fee) ... which is why I'm suspecting it may not be such a great school. Has anyone ever heard of it? Or know anything about it?

i dunno the actual rank but it is a tier 3 school according to US news... no clue whatsoever on the school other than that.

well if thats easy, then maybe you should reconsider

I'm the resident St. John's expert here and don't I REPEAT don't attend this school...they will try to sucker you with plenty of aid/scholarships but its not worth the miserable year that you'll have at this subpar school...that's why i'm on here now since i was searching for good transfer options. i should be hearing back soon on where i'll be in the fall...any questions about sju just hit me up

well that answers my question.
what's so horrible about it?

first thing...are you in state or out of state?

out of state

well it might not be as bad for you...i hate it since it feels like HS since i commute. the only real bonuses are that the financial aid is VERY generous and the classes aren't too difficult. Thats about it though...theres no campus life whatsoever as theres only like 2,000 dormers and about 1/2 of them go home on the weekends and the dorm policies are ridiculous with sign in policies, feels more like a prison than anything. there's only 1 dining hall with subpar food and you will feel like you aren't gettin the true college experience of a bigger university. if you want to go to the city a lot instead of chillin with people on campus then you may not mind the lack of campus social life...

did SJU/CSB lured you guys with generous aid??? not for me though!! probably its because i am an international student seeking for more aid!!! though they have given me more than the average aid its not enough for me!! they might augment some more, if they do i am going to attend it?? how is the university seniors?
