<p>@MYOS1634 Unfortunately, nothing great (bad reading score SAT 2130 CR 640 M 740 W 750 GPA 8.8/10.0 Class Rank 2/50 if that even matters)
And my family can only pay $15,000 maximum 
St. Olaf is still my first choice and I will pursue it till the end…</p>
<p>you were probably deferred for financial reasons - they want to compare you with other students who need almost a full ride. 
Keep going, send them updates (grade report, prizes/distinctions, new scores…) and apply RD to other schools.
If you like St Olaf, you may like Lawrence, Gustavus Adolphus, Luther?</p>
