<p>Does anyone know if SPS contacted the Ross scholarship recipients ._. I applied and I just wanna know if they did......do they contact you if they don't want to give you the scholarship?! Eeeeeeep IDEK! I just wanna know if they offered me the scholarship or not I can't stand not knowing..... I heard they contact u the first week of march :(</p>
<p>What is the Ross Scholarship?</p>
<p>The Ross is one of a few named (the the alum that funded it) scholarships at SPS that targets people from a specific geographic area…in the case of the Ross, Northern NJ. SPS is not the only school that does this sort of thing. For example, Emma Willard has the “Capital District Scholars”.</p>
<p>For the Ross, in addition to guaranteeing to meet need (up to full ride), they also throw in a stipend for other expenses (like travel, or a computer, summer programs, etc.).</p>
<p>It’s a scholarship that this dude mr Ross (sps alum) gives to ppl from nj u don’t apply the AO recommends u based on your personality/geography </p>
<p>They pay for all expenses plus I think the pay for the trips to other countries 
but I didn’t get it…thy tell u the week b4 M10 so since I didn’t hear from them by now… Hehe but it’s ok @needtoboard</p>

<p>Hadn’t heard anything about it so can’t comment but if the AO recommends you for it, I would think it means the AO holds you in high regard…</p>
<p>Even being notified that you are a finalist is a very very strong suggestion that you will be receive an acceptance on M10.</p>

<p>I was wondering the same thing, I remember attending a reception thingy earlier this year. I think they were supposed to notify you for interviews early march? Neither myself or sibling has heard</p>

<p>@teenagecrime I know! I was at that same reception in Newark nj! And no sadly u can’t get scholarship if they haven’t contacted u by now I mean u can still get admission but u can’t get the scholarship </p>
