St. Paul's Acceptance Package?

Our daughter was accepted to St. Paul's, and we found out by logging into the special website on the 10th. The website said a package of materials was coming. It is now Wednesday - no package!

Has anyone received anything in the mail from St. Paul's yet??

We haven’t gotten anything either. Got packets with details (school calendar, tuition $$ information, etc) from other schools, but nothing from SPS except a few hard copy letters of the acceptance. One of the letters explained that they are trying to give us the “space” to work out our decision… but how can we decide or feel welcomed when we don’t have anything exciting to throw ourselves into? We are so excited about the admissions, and have been able to read up on the other schools… looking forward to a mailing soon!! St. Paul’s has been our front-runner all along.

So glad to hear it wasn’t just us. Here is a horror story: It is Thursday March 15th and still no letter. I was walking up to the house and noticed 50 feet away a letter face down in a puddle in a downpour. I went over and it was our daughter’s acceptance letter from St. Paul’s! It was barely readable, but at least we know she actually got in. Apparently a letter came to us (the parents) as well, but we don’t have it.

SPS confirmed the ‘large package’ was mailed out on Thursday March 15 to all acceptees via USPS, so I guess we should have it by Saturday or Monday latest. Strange, it seems all the other schools have sent out packages much earlier.

Oh well, SPS is our (and our daughter’s) first choice anyway, so we can wait a couple of extra days.

Good luck with your decision!

Glad to know that something is on its way - SPS is my first choice and I can’t wait to go there in the fall!

I remember last year our SPS package came after the official acceptance packages from other schools, but it was well worth it  It was always our frontrunner, which only made the wait for the package seem longer…!

Mayhew… are you a student at SPS now?

Yes ~ and very happy to be there :)
