St. Paul's School Concord NH

Are you talking about the dorm Warren?

On another note…

Yes the dorm. The Summer begins today for junior.

Thanks Hockey, good fun!

Has the new girl’s soccer coach been hired yet?

I was accepted into the third form and I am very excited for school to start in the fall  The students and teachers from sports, clubs, and classes have been extremely welcoming. SPS really seems to be the perfect fit for me!

Also, all of these comments and advice have been extremely beneficial! Thank you Winterset, for organizing this thread, and to all the SPS (future, past, and present) students and parents!

In case you missed it, the summer reading list is out:

Good job Dewey and good luck!

Thank you!

Have they selected/announced a replacement for Jada Hebra yet? Just curious if they’ll promote from within or bring someone from the outside in…

Is the current 3rd Form Class at SPS larger than normal? I’m wondering because I’m strongly considering reapplying to SPS for the 4th Form next year.

You’ll want to get the answer specific to your gender. I believe SPS had 50% more spots available for fourth form boys than girls past year.

That’s good for me because I’m a boy. I’ll probably contact the admissions office in the fall and ask about how many slots they anticipate having for new 4th Form boys. Thanks!

SPS did overenroll boys this year. They are creating extra triples to accommodate boys for the coming fall.

St. Paul’s new Director of Admissions is Scott Bohan.

Anyone know where he is from? I tried to locate it on the SPS site but couldn’t find that information.

He is an SPS alum and has been working in development at SPS. I also noticed in a news item on the website that SPS also has a new Academic Dean, Lawrence Smith. He does not appear to be an internal hire.

SPS hires new Academic Dean from Exeter

Although I haven’t seen an official press release, St. Paul’s new Academic Dean, Lawrence Smith, appears to be from PEA where he has most recently served as Associate Dean of Faculty.

In addition, Relinde de Greef appears on SPS’s website as part of the Humanities faculty.

Quite the impressive couple!

I’m glad Lawrence Smith is leaving the dark side and coming into the light:)

kraordrawoh: Thank you for doing the research! Definitely sound like an academic power house couple - very impressive!
