Stafford and Grad Plus Deadline?

<p>What are the deadlines for the Stafford and Grad Plus loan applications? </p>

<p>I'm a little confused about the deadlines for the loans as opposed to general FAFSA applications.</p>

<p>FAFSA applications are definitely due May 2nd. Does this mean Stafford and Grad Plus applications are also due May 2nd?</p>

<p>The reason I am confused is that the USC financial aid website says something about offering an "invitation" to apply for Stafford and Grad Plus loans once your financial status has been determined. The website also says this eligibility will be determined after May 1st.</p>

<p>So... I have no invitation as of April 30th to apply for either loan program and the deadline is May 2nd. Is this right or can I wait for my invitation and not worry about deadlines for the actual loan documents?</p>

<p>There is no deadline for applying for loans (other than in time to pay for school). Once the school certifies the amount of loans you are eligible for you, you can apply.</p>
