Stamina Tips during the test ~_~

I've studied my butt off for a long time, and this saturday is gonna be my 2nd and last try to get over a 2100. A big thing worrying me is if i start daydreaming and yawning by section 8-9 of the test. Can you guys please post some tips to increase stamina and to stay pumped up during the test?

lol and don't suggest obvious ones like get a good night's sleep...

One tip that actually works.

When taking the test, dont be frantic because the more you are, the more you strain your mind. Be relaxed and remember that the more relaxed you are, the better you will do on your test.

Heres something you dont do: Drinking a red bull or high energy things.

Ummm....try not looking at the clock too much. I freak out thinking I don't have enough time left and waste time doing that..

I crash after Red bull, so I be taking some bananas and maybe orange juice.

don't drink Red bull????

can anyone explain why?
doesn;t it help you to concentrate.

it helps u concentrate for a few min. then u crash

exactly......And you wouldn't want to goto the toilet too many times

o, really

thanks guys,

I have just bought a can of red bull....I won't drink it..then

To concentrate, you need to be focused. And to be focused, you need to be calm and relaxed.

How can you focus if you've just taken a bunch of caffeine through an energy drink....if anything they make me more jumpy/less concentrated.

Smoke.

And I've heard that caffeine can actually help you concentrate. Of course, it varies.

Caffeine. Definitely.

caffeine? :/

prolly drink some water during breaks. it should help clear up your mind nad keep you focused (not too much...then you would have to go to the bathroom)

Im gonna be fasting tomorrow and taking the SAT, but I hope God can help me beast this exam :)

I'm definitely going to drink caffiene. I was planning on Red Bull, but I don't think I'm going to try it.

:( I have a problem in that whenever i'm constrained for time, nervous, etc my hands start to get sweaty. On my last SAT, I sweated soo much that the essay paper was wet and kinda ripped. Does anyone know the cure for this? Because the thing is that my hands start to sweat and that hinders my 100% concentration in that I have to very carefully bubble in the answers lest I scrape the answer key.

^ close ur eyes, cover both ur ears with your hands, breathe in and out three times.

during my psat last year, i drank water quite frequently and during the couple minute breaks i had to go to the bathroom and everyone was waiting for me. quite embarassing actually.

i had about half a can of red bull before sats in june, and it honestly saved me. it helps you concentrate soo much.
but i usually have a lot of caffeine. if youre not used to caffeine, DONT TRY IT!
