Thanks to money from Stamps Foundation, USC will now have 5 additional Carolina Scholars. These 5 students will also receive an $8000 stipend for research, internships, study abroad, ungrad research, etc. This is great news for highly qualified SC students applying to USC in the coming years. I think it will start with the group interviewing next month, but not positive.

According to student newspaper, USC will join 33 other universities that already partner with the Stamps Foundation, including the University of Chicago, Notre Dame and the University of Michigan.

USC is the only school from South Carolina and the fourth Southeastern Conference school to partner with the foundation.
