Stamps Foundation adds to scholarships

<p>Thanks to money from Stamps Foundation, USC will now have 5 additional Carolina Scholars. These 5 students will also receive an $8000 stipend for research, internships, study abroad, ungrad research, etc. This is great news for highly qualified SC students applying to USC in the coming years. I think it will start with the group interviewing next month, but not positive.</p>

<p>According to student newspaper, USC will join 33 other universities that already partner with the Stamps Foundation, including the University of Chicago, Notre Dame and the University of Michigan.</p>

<p>USC is the only school from South Carolina and the fourth Southeastern Conference school to partner with the foundation.</p>
