DS'13 has been nominated for this scholarship by University of Chicago.
Anybody knows anything about this scholarship????
For me U Chicago has been always a front runner, and now to hear this! I am thrilled, but would love to hear others...

Congratulations!!

I’m a Stamps Scholar at Georgia Tech-- our program at GT is quite similar to the one at UChicago.

The funding for my tuition and school fees has certainly been wonderful, but more than that, I’ve found that the program encourages me to develop on a personal level. This scholarship has been, in many ways, an investment in my potential, more than just a recognition of high school achievement.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about all that the Stamps Program has done for me. I’ve had the opportunity to study abroad (at the London School of Economics, and in France), interned with CNN, and had countless opportunities for internships and career networking present themselves as well.

In all sincerity, this scholarship has given me opportunities I never even knew I could have, and I would genuinely encourage you too look into the offer further. Have you checked out their website? It highlights what the program offers and what current students are up to.

I’m more than willing to answer more questions as well.

Congratulations again!!

Well, DS has been nominated, but is not a scholar yet
But many thanks for your post !

To moderators - this is a double thread, somehow I posted it twice (???), could you please merge them…

Oh-- my apologies for the confusion, but congrats all the same! Even the nomination is a huge honor.

I have also been nominated for the Stamps Scholarship at the University of Chicago this year. I’ve been trying to find the four other students who were nominated (I already found one other) and may be able to share some information with you.

Glad to find this post!
