Standard marking scheme ?

Is there a standard grade system, between what percentages is an A ie(85-100) and so on?

I’m an international, just so you know! just wondering if its the same?

There is no standard marking/grading scheme in the US.

For some schools, the GPA might be out of 6.0. For some, 5.0. For others, 4.0.

For some schools, an A might be a 95-100. A B might be a 85-95. For others, an A might be a 90-100. A B might be a 80-89.

Can you teach me some more international speak? For example, I know:

mark = grade
revise = study

What else :D?

Haha thanks! How do colleges tell who’s getting what ? How can they differentiate between a record that has all As and a record that says all Bs when they may have gotten the same percentage ??

I can’t help you too much! I tend to use the same as you !! However I can give you the Irish for test

Scrudu pronounced screw-do

Well, colleges generally have a feeling for your school. Experienced adcoms should be able to tell whether a 6.0 GPA at one HS means anything. Plus, there’s class rank and SAT scores. If you have a 6.0 GPA, a class rank of 2000/2000, and a SAT score of 830, then that’s not a good sign :).
