Standardized Test Dilemma

I plan on applying to Cornell, Emory, Colgate, and Brandeis (which I think is my number one)
-If Cornell I’d apply ED
My test scores are as follows
SAT I
Math 730
Writing 700
Reading 640:(
ACT
30 composite
32 on Math and English
SAT II
US History 710
Math I, I plan to take
Español o una desición malo es 520, estoy may triste
So my question is if I apply to Cornell which requires you send all test scores (I plan on applying for poli sci) if I have two good SAT II scores, I’m confident I’ll do well on math then will the third test the Spanish negatively affect me if they only require two SAT IIs. Plus I’ve gotten A’s in Spanish all throughout high school, es un desastre!
Also can AP tests positively affect admissions?
Lang 5
APUSH 5
Euro 4 (10th grade)
Thanks for your help!

Schools that require to send All test scores either want you to send all SAT scores, or All Act scores. So the “all” scores is a little misleading.

I’m familiar with the Cornell admissions rules regarding the SAT and AP (I applied and got in) and what I can say for sure:

  1. Your chances are higher with ED
  2. AP doesn't determine admissions. It's good to do well on them, but Cornell acknowledges AP only during class placement. My interviewer told me the student advisors try to get students to not use all the AP credit they get at first because it can be overwhelming. But of course, a student with great AP scores is never a bad thing.
  3. Which college are you applying to within Cornell? I'm not familiar with a college within Cornell that takes a language SAT; I know engineering requires a Math and Science SAT, and some colleges don't require SATs at all. When I went to a Cornell info session before applying, the engineering speaker said they don't consider the Writing portion of the SAT, BUT they can't ignore a writing score because it still shows up when they load the score, implying that it might play a small influence if you have, say, a 700 M and 700 R but a 550 W. That may be how it works with SAT 2s as well.

Daedric Saiyan thank you for your response. If I do decide to apply to Cornell I will apply Early Decision. Also if I were to apply early decision is it reasonable to apply with a 1370/1600 SAT score if the rest of my application and GPA are much more impressive. Also I plan to apply for CAS to be a government major. Thanks again for your help.
