Standardized Test Scores

It annoys me when people automatically judge in the negative a person's chances if he/she has below a 2200 SAT I score. Stanford's SAT range is 1370-1550. Yes, that means people with 1400's got in...wow. I agree that chances threads are pretty pointless, but don't be discouraged if your SAT score M+V score isnt 1500+ because thats what all these threads are pointing too. Many people dont even apply to Ivies because there are in 1400s. Just try to get above 2000, and just try your best on the application and try to get good recs. That's all you can do at this point, and keep in mind this college thing is a bit exagerrated - no matter where you go to college you can be what you want to be, a place like Stanford only jump starts you. The goal of life has increasingly become to get in to a good college and get a good job, but the real goal is just happiness. I don't have amazing stats, and if you dont also, dont be discouraged and just try your best...knowing that wherever you go to school you can STILL BE HAPPY.

Well I have 1510 (old) and 2080 (new) so I probably won't get in anyway.
