Which standardized test is preferred on a college application for a student who wants to major in medicine, the SAT or ACT (examination)? Thanks.

There's no medicine major. Medicine is a professional school that comes after college.

I don't really think it matters at all.

But if you're taking SAT IIs, Biology M, Chemistry, and Math II.

Neither is preferred... it's one or the other. Just take the one you are apt to score better on (or just both)

and... what the above, above poster said.

Also, in my personal opinion, demonstration of interest by taking science, math SAT IIs is overrated. It's just an application to undergraduate college. Your interests may change over time...

Well yeah, but you knew what I meant. I plan on being a pre-medical student.

You can just submit whichever one you score better on, right?

So don't take the SAT Subject Test in Mathematics? Considering I need three, aside from SAT Subject Test in Biology M and SAT Subject Test in Chemistry, what other SAT Subject Test would you recommend?

Well... yes. Submit the test you score better on.

And for the subject tests... take the ones you are likely to get the highest scores in. Regardless of field.
