Standardized Testing Scores for Ivies

Hey guys!

So I just found out my SAT scores this morning. These are the scores:

Math - 760
Critical Reading - 780
Writing - 800
Composite - 2340

My ACT score (Junior Year) was 35.
Math - 36
Science - 35
Reading - 34
English - 35

I took three SAT II Subject tests and these were scores:
U.S History - 780
Biology (m) - 750
Math II - 730

These are my AP scores:
AP U.S History - 5
AP Biology - 5
AP Chemistry - 4
AP World History - 5
AP Language and Composition - 4
AP Human Geography - 5
AP Calculus BC - 5
AP Physics C - 5
AP Statistics - 5
AP Spanish Language - 4
AP Literature and Composition - 4

Are these scores good enough for the ivy league schools?

I'm applying EA to yale, ED to Penn, and RD to everything else

The only score that looks out of whack is the Math II subject test. If you have the option - don’t submit that one.

Even the math 2 isn’t bad to be honest. It just looks “bad” in contrast to the rest of your excellent scores.

You are prohibited from applying both EA to Yale and ED to Penn.Yale’s EA is single choice early action and its rule is that you cannot apply ED anywhere else. Also, if what you are saying is that you have already applied early to a college, then for whichever one you are applying to, you need to get scores to it extremely fast if not already sent and you should be promptly changing your early application to the other to one for regular admission. Coileges do follow boards like these and your post gives enouigh information for either Penn or Yale to determine who you are.

As to what is required, Penn wants all scores, SAT, subject testsd and ACT. Yale allows you to provide only all ACT’s if you choose to rely on it. Subject tests are not considered with the ACT and if you submit any subject tests or any SAT, you must submit all SATs and all subject. Your scores are in a range for admission to either Yale or Penn but scores are only one factor and no one should assume they will definitely be admitted even if they have perfect scores

Those scores are all fine. From MIT interview, son said they put the scores aside after you have reached a certain level, which you have, because your scores are very similar to his. Your over all SAT was actually 100 points higher.
His ACT was same as yours. His math subject was 760 I think, but otherwise the same. Don’t worry about your scores. That part of your app is fine. As long as you have GPA, rank, Ec’s that are competitive you’re fine.

How did your GC allow you to apply SCEA to Yale and also ED to UPenn – it is one or the other?

@connect1234‌ I mean Yale EA and penn rd my bad

@adidas15, OK then because otherwise I’d have said to change one of them ASAP or risk both disqualifying you.
You’ve got a really good chance in my opinion!
