standardized testing will be my downfall for UCs

SAT:2100 (will retake for 2230+)</p>

<p>SAT Subject: NONE, IM SCREWED</p>

<p>multi-ethnic in top 20 public high school
from CA </p>

<p>AP Courses: Stats, Spanish- testing this may, 5 for sure in stats, 4 for sure in Spanish </p>

<p>im regitered for ap psych, and compsci (and discrete/finite which is UC weighted but not an ap)</p>

<p>EC's: Varsity Basketball since freshman year
203 service hours
summer internships a a biotech startup (paid)</p>

<p>National Honor Society (lettered)
National Spanish Honor Society
top 5% of class (i'll probably be saludictorian)</p>

<p>I want to major in Business/Finance btw</p>

<p>what im terrified of is my lack of standardized testing will screw me. the reason i have none is that i'm not smart, i just work tirelessly, and thought my grades were the most important.</p>

<p>I honestly think you’re a match for both. You’re the ideal candidate. The catch is that there are thousands of ‘ideal candidates’ because these schools are so widely applied to. No one can guarantee your admission, but I think you’ve got a great shot, especially if your SAT goes up a little. I also encourage you to apply for USC- you may be eligible for a scholarship.
