Standby Testing (ACT)

I have taken the ACT multiple times, and I was going to take it once more to try and raise my score to my goal, considering most of my colleges take February scores. I thought I had registered for the test, but to my dismay, I have not. Considering I standby test this saturday and receive materials, how long will it take to get my scores back?

I'm totally new to standby testing, can anyone describe or explain it?

Well I’m trying to take the ACT via standby mode too, i failed to late-register for a few hours because i live in another time zone.

I know how SAT stand-by works, atleast for the SAT II, collegeboard sends a package of 7 booklets regardless if only one person registered. In the January date i was the only kid taking the SAT II subject tests but another 6 kids could have arrived to present the test stand-by mode.

However im unaware of the ACT and i really need to know how it works, if it is the same way the SAT works? if I should go to a big test center in a big city or a test center in a small town (never taken it)
