I have to standby test for the Dec. 4 test and I wanted to know if that would effect my chances of being considered an applicant to schools whose latest deadline is the Dec. test. I understand standby testers get their scores a lot later, so that's why I'm asking.

I took the Nov. 6th tests as a standby. I heard the scores come out a lot later too but when I called, they said that my scores will be online along with everyone elses on Nov 23rd. Online right now it shows which ones I took and it says “check back on nov 23rd” so i think you should be fine. Worst comes worst just call the admissions office for that school and explain your situation… btw is it for a UC school?

For a bunch of schools, UC and private. Is it OK if I PM you when scores come out, just to ask if you got the scores the same time as everyone else did?

When I took standby my scores came out at the same time as everyone elses. As long as your collegeboard scores page lists the test as “complete”, you’re good to go.
