<p>Hi I am a student in college retaking the SAT so that I can get into a more competitive uni. I didn't register in time so I will be standby testing, does anybody know how to go about this?</p>
<p>Read [SAT</a> Reasoning Test - Standby Testing](<a href=“http://professionals.collegeboard.com/testing/sat-reasoning/test-day/standby]SAT”>http://professionals.collegeboard.com/testing/sat-reasoning/test-day/standby)</p>
<p>OP- I would go to a test site that is not too popular, if you can figure it out.
Get there at least 45 minutes early and let the registration table know you are a standby- be pleasant and courteous, smile.
It would be better that you are there when they are setting up.
They know you are determined to get in.
Hover near the table, but don’t get in the way, so they know you are eager to get a spot.
Keep making eye contact, stay off your phone, be ready when you get the nod.
Thank them for their efforts to get you in.</p>
<p>Hi all. If you are in the same predicament what you can do is register for the next sat test and take the admission ticket for that one tomorrow morning, they will accept it but will bill you like 20 something dollars.</p>
