How do you do standby testing?

I just did stand by for the November testing, and it wasn't that difficult. You have to pick up a paper registration packet from where ever your school has them and fill it out in advance. Put your check in the envelope or fill out the credit card part. Since it is stand by, you will have to pay more money. Then you just show up at the test center super early and tell them you want to take it stand by. They will put you on a list, and if they have room they will take you. I was able to secure a test in advance because I had contacts at another local school; but, I have heard from other people that getting a test is not usually a problem. I got my score this past Friday just like all the other people did. Good luck and I hope this helped!

I believe that you do it the same way that you would do regular testing. instead you fill out standy on the special fees section and pay an extra $35.00.

Come early, i've read. First come first serve

I'm sorry for the misinformation. Standby testtaking is totally different from other test taking. For standby, you must arrive at the test center before 7:30, have your registration packet with you and completely filled out, and have your money(no cash) ready. After all of the tests have been passed out to the regular test takers, then they give the extra materials to the standby test takers. However, if there isn't sufficient testing material, then you will be dismissed from the testing center. The cost for standby testtaking is an additional $35.00, which is very expensive.
