Standout Student Application

I already applied to Saint Michael's for the November 1st deadline for Early Action. However, I applied using the standout student application (SSA) I received in the mail. With the SSA, you don't need to provide an essay for admissions, although, I find my essay very telling of myself and now regret that I didn't send it in. Do you think it will affect anything with admissions?

What information I sent to Saint Michael's:
GPA: 3.4
ACT: 22
Extracurricular Activites: JV/Varsity Soccer- 9th and 10th grade
Varsity Lacrosse- 10th, 11th, and now 12th grade
ASA Softball 8th grade- 11th grade
French Tutor- 9th
Work- 9th,10th,11th
Babysitting- 9th,10th,11th,12th

If anyone who has applied using a personal application sent from Saint Michael's or any other college, let me know how it worked out for you!

Hello laulau567!

As you said, the Standout Student Application doesn’t require a full essay, but we would be more than happy to review one if you would like to send it. You can absolutely feel free to pass your essay along to me via e-mail (cpratt@smcvt.edu) and I will be sure it gets added to your file!

Hope this helps!
