Stanford - 2007 Transfer Thread

app deadline = 11:59 PM EST 3/15?

ja i think-I still gotta write up my long essay!!!!!!!!!!! :(

You kids are nuts. Good luck!

I took care of everything so far but the entire part 2 of application. Luckily C & P was invented.

Anyone applying economics?

you guys sure its due thursday night and not wednesday? Oh, and you sure its by eastern time and not pacific? (Its a serious issue, I have finals this week too, wednesday would let me put a final off till thursday)

You can probably guess how far along I am with the essays if I'm asking that...

Ugh, I have everything done and ready to go except for one of the T4 forms. The professor that's supposed to fill it out has been putting it off for the past few weeks, and now called in sick yesterday and today. Guess I should find someone else soon...

I'm planning on having ti all finished by thursday 5PM, so eastern or western time won't screw me over. i'll probably call them up too just to be sure, im halfway done w/ my long essay

The only thing I can recall seeing, somewhere on stanford.edu, is an online deadline of "end of day, March 15th", whatever that means.

Anyone think Stanford would get their panties in a bunch if they received 2 of form T5 for me from 2 different people? I really need to start looking for a backup recommendation in case my other teacher doesn't pull through.

they might notice it, but i doubt it would seriously screw you over.

Hey, I don't have a phone... I'd need to ask someone in order to make a call and I already owe her enough favors. Anyone actually called and know when the deadline is? It'd mean a lot. I got a frickin chem final due on that day... it's all tight. And the all important question: eastern or pacific?

I submitted 4 letters of rec to each of my xfer, 2 science 2 humanities- 2 large classroom prof with A+ grades and 2 instructors that just know me very well. I got the go ahead from each place i asked so didnt bother asking the rest. i doubt they would shoot me over it.

stanford server is on eastern time

guys - all deadlines are postmarked right ? Including fine and performing arts submissions? Its strange cause on the form it says received by March 15th but on the website it says all the deadlines are postmark deadlines? Im confused! Does anyone know?

nononono

the performing arts one has to be RECEIVED by march 15th

Better send it overnight then. Good luck with that.

Any confirms on the final deadline? I still have a million other things to take care of tomorrow besides my essays, not even related to stanford. It'd help to know at least how to organize my time.

Just came back from the post office. The wait begins...

i think im gonna miss the deadline- it will cost me 200 dollars to get it ther today.. no way! thanks anyways guys :)
