Happy Halloween to you too. :D

Sent in everything. Probably should have revised my main essay a bit more (there were a few important pieces of information that I forgot), but otherwise, I’m happy with it all.

I bet the adcoms will convene at a Radisson during Thanksgiving Break, have a marathon essay session, and finish decisions within that week =P

I’m tweaking essays with final touches and will submit the app/supp tomorrow. So nervous, so excited, good luck everyone!! :)

hey guys I submitted it on Wednesday. introducing myself, so you wont get freaked out when I get all weird come Dec 15th.

Hey Guys !! sigh I’m submitting mine soon. ughhhh. this is so nerve wracking. Come December 15th I will get an heart attack.

I was wondering, has anyone received the link to whatever page is supposed to let us track the parts of our application? Because I would really like to know if my counselor actually sent in my transcript. :P

Also, just a tip for anyone who is as anxious as me: if you have a Gmail account, you can set it to selectively forward messages to your phone. Just go into “Settings,” then “Filters.” Create a new filter for “Has the words: Stanford.” Then click “Next Step” and set it to forward to your phone’s email address, which can be found about halfway down [this page](http://www.googletutor.com/2005/03/25/gmail-to-your-phone/).

Not sure if anyone else is obsessive enough to use this, but it’s helped me to stop checking my email constantly. And I know that I will find out my decision the moment it comes, even if I’m at school/otherwise away from home. Quite a relief.

Haha, wow, thanks Starmie! That’s nifty. I didn’t know Gmail could do that.

(I haven’t submitted yet, so I’m not qualified to answer the first question. :))

I submitted on Friday and am preparing for the longest 45 days of my life…

By the way, Starmie, I haven’t received any email from Stanford yet, either.

idk about you guys but i kind of need somthing to pass the time from now until december 15…

i vote we keep this thread alive.

First topic: What did you all write your roommate essay about?

i went with music/I’m a drummer, yea i know how over done it is but i though i did a decent job of making it my own.

(45 Days to go…)

Are there any decisions made before dec 15? Or will everyone get the notification on the same day?

Same day I believe but I cant confirm by any means.

Hey everyone!

Add my name to this list of hopefuls because I applied early too. This is my first ever post on this website so I’ll really wish I could say an adage of epic proportions but I guess this will have to do: I think that every one here who applied early has something that many in this world don’t have and that’s confidence. Whether we get in or not, I know we are all destined to make out mark (hopefully in a positive way) in this world and I wish everyone luck! To be honest I’m only sounding optimistic to hide how anxious and nervous this entire college app process is making me. Good Luck to all!

a agree. keep it alive. we can all go crazy together :)

i had another post but idk where it went

sometimes decisions go out december 14, but they all go out together.
so either all on dec. 14 or all on dec. 15

Ahh, i just submitted… Now for the wait… XP

Quick question…

do you guys think Boise State is over/under rated in the current BCS standings?

I’m going to say Boise is underrated, but I’m biased because I think that school is awesome and have been following their sports semi-closely for a few years.

Keeping this thread alive is a good idea…we have to do something until the 15th.

Boise is overrated, their schedule is far easier than Iowa’s or TCU’s, hwoever, the Broncos deserve a BCS Bowl if they win out. I see that you asked about the BCS, and I was talking about the AP one, sorry I haven’t seen the current BCS yet.

To stay on topic, am I the only one here applying here early from Europe? And, how many Europeans are there at Stanford? I guess that most of the internationals are Asian or Latino, but don’t really know.

On one hand, I agree. It’d be awesome to have all us SCEAers hang out until decisions come.
On the other hand… Time’s probably gonna pass a lot quicker if we just forget the whole thing! Haha.

Even so, I think I’m for keepin’ it alive.
