Stanford 2014 SCEAers

True, but I think he would.
C’mon Nitro, we don’t judge! Peer pressure…

Haha just kidding, you can do what you want. Really.

Are QB kids really getting their decisions in three days?!

hahaha im not going to lie i was sitting there refreshing for a good 7 mins :P

i do what i want.

but if stats are all you want then what evs, give me a sec

AHHHHH!!! I WAS GOING TO GET 1000th!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!
I feel a little bit pathetic that I’m this upset about not being the 1000th post.

Anyway, yeah, I figured you did what you want. Prussia! Your peer pressure worked!

Member name: Nitro Hawk

SAT II scores: Math II: 800, Physics: 770
AP scores: bad, i dont know

Its actually kind of a compliment that im not pledging…

i respect the binding magical contract it constitutes so much that I dont want to break it :P

EDIT: couldnt help but put in the H-Piddy reference

I’m the best peer pressurer ever! I even put it under ECs! 168 hours a week, legit

Oh, and I think it’s interesting that a lot of the people who posted early on in this thread have dropped off the face of the earth.

The conversation/personalities have also drastically changed. It used to be “Oh yay Stanford is great! I’m so glad we’re all applying together! This is so exciting! Go Stanford! I’m so nervous!” Now it’s “Let’s mock a few people, then go on to destroy Yale, stopping only briefly to comment on gender and favorite animals, ending when we finally figure out how to make a facebook group.”

hahahaha

i felt kind of wierd putting EPGY as 168 hours a week but i still did it

questbridge comes on dec 1st

speaking of essays (the link to the 2012 essays, lol bad segway (segue?) i know), should we talk about what we wrote about?

i talked about making up formulas to explain things when i write papers in my intellectual vitality

Darn you lucky questbridge people. Please post for us! :)

Yeah, we should do essay topics. Make sure we keep it vague enough that people wouldn’t be able to steal our idea. Not that it really matters for us since we applied already and won’t have to compete against the RD kids…unless we get deferred.

I wrote about a lab that I had to do in my research when my mentor told me “Figure out __________” and left me. I talked about how mad/scared/surprised I was and how I failed.

yea i dont really care if some kid wants to steal my idea

at least it show’s he/she is resourceful

espically if they dig through 68 pages of posts to find it :P

HAHAHAHAHAHA. I really want someone to write an essay about copying an essay or something like that and saying that it was “resourceful.” If I were on the admissions committee, I would love it.

i dind mine about my short job internship at P &G Chemicals, and my experiance at osu this summer for a engineering course.

i wish i was questbridge, i got rejected from the college match (didnt even match with any cause i chose the regular desicion option lol), but i wasnt really bummed because i didnt think i would get it anyway, but i was recommend and its free lol. and theres some pretty interesting awards i applied for, so maybe some hope for this jan haha

lolol “I am an outlaw in Peru”

someone needs to start the decisions thread so that questbridge people can start posting their decisions

how do they notify us with our decision?

Should I do that now, then? I was planning on starting it a week before Dec 15, but… Yeah, now that I know QB kids are getting theirs soon, I’m not so sure.

Hahaha, Prussia!, it’s really your decision. You called dibbs on it, but if you’re sick of making threads, I can do it. Or you can put it off until you feel like it. Or you could do it now.

they will probabaly notify us through an email and snail mail
