Hey guys I know Stanford requires all sat and act test scores but I got an 1850 then 1870 on the SAT and a 29 then 35 on the ACT. I really don't want them to see the SAT I am okay with them seeing the 29 and 35. Basically if I didn't send in my SAT scores and they aren't on my high school transcript would they know? Thanks everyone!

They want ALL of them? Jeez… Thanks for the heads up for my stanford application.
A 6 point gap in the ACT is HUGE. Hopefully this won’t derail the thread, but mind sharing what went different? Just different tests, more studying, etc?

I didnt study the first time and studied the second time. thats it haha. But yeah I really want to know if they will find out if I just dont send the SAT scores

bump town

If they want it send. Its easy enough for them the find out if they want to.

I cant trust anyone who uses send for the word sent. Anybody else? XD

You have to send it. If they find out that you didn’t, let’s just say things won’t go well for you. I submitted my Stanford REA app and I submitted my 35 on my ACT along with my mediocre SAT score.

Do you have any idea what kind of impact it will have on us? Because I sure as hell don’t. Are they really just looking for your best score? I will send them all in but I don’t want them to think less of me because of those SAT scores…

They just wanna know you didn’t take the test 6578 times to get a good score.

^That. It won’t hurt you, trust me. They take your best score in account anyway.

You should send them all. But for ACT, if it is for a financial reason, you may just send the 35 and self report the 29.
