<p>There are several threads about this already. They do not do email notifications. In "early April," ie, April 1, you can see your decision on the ApplyOnline website.</p>
<p>Mallomar, I don't think it's going to be April 1st because that's on a Sunday...</p>
<p>Lol well what you or I think is irrelevant, I could very well be wrong, it's all up to the admissions office. I'm going to start checking on the 28th for all my colleges anyway :)</p>
<p>I'm pretty sure day doesn't matter--it's all about date. In fact, here's a link to the official statement:

<p>Pyleela it says no later than April 1st to mail, but it doesn't say that it won't be earlier for the online decisions.</p>
<p>That's what they said in EA as well. I know I kept on checking earlier than the 15th, but it didn't come up until exactly at 3PM on the 15th. Maybe RD doesn't have that 3PM time thing?</p>
<p>Functionally speaking they don't "automatically do this" on the day -- they have to sort of manually hit the switch. As I remember, last year April 1 fell on a Saturday, so they released actually late on Friday. And of course, they say "Will be mailed by April 1", but no, they cannot mail <em>on</em> April 1, so they would mail by Friday. As a result, you can expect that results will probably be up on the website sometime Friday.</p>
<p>By the way, the difference between EA and RD is that EA date fell on a weekday, so they didn't have to adjust. As I said, last year's RD was on a weekend, so it was released on Friday.</p>
<p>Well, I stand corrected. I'll keep that in mind b/c Dec 15th is on a weekend. :) Thanks for the info TrinSF!</p>
