one way to find out, where is it. I too went to summer college at stanford and I have an axess account

my friend had this same issue. she called the admissions office today and they said it doesnt mean anything

well congratulations if you actually have been admitted…

hmm strange I cant find it, anyone want to help?
If I dont have it, it might mean you did make it

Don’t mail the invites to the celebration party yet, but have them ready.

I also have an axess account and for a while I had a box saying that my application was in process. Now it disappeared. To the person who started this thread, “Do you still have the box showing that you were admitted, or did it disappear to?”

hey gecko i was in summersession too this past summer. i followed ur steps but saw no such field as “Admissions”.

on Nov 12, Stanford sent me a confirmation email notifying that my application was complete n it didn’t imply there was anyway i could check the status of my admission, thru Axess or wateva.

If anything, I’m an international student. u think that’s what made this difference?
But i sure do hope that status u saw was TRUE n pre-congrats =)
actually i was kinda freaked out when i saw this thread cuz there was NOTHING special in my account.

The box no longer exists. By midnight, the accepted check box switched to a normal complete mark. By the next evening, the entire “admissions” category had disappeared. odd

as a current undergrad i can tell you that the axess system really sucks. I wouldn’t read too much into this. good luck though!

perhaps the result that you saw was actually correct…
I remember last year I could access my psat score on collegeboard.com early through a glitch before they shut down the link, so i would not be surprised if Stanford may have made a similar mistake

I thought of an interesting way to check if you are accepted. All of us SCEAers received an email confirming that our applications had been received. This email contains your Stanford ID. Now, try making an account on SUnet (axess) https://sunetid.stanford.edu/main/SUNetIdApp/CreateApp

If you successfully make an account, you have been admitted, if not, perhaps rejection.

It didn’t work for me, so I have likely been rejected. Tell me if this works for anyone.

I hope this isn’t supposed to work.

im pretty sure it works. i dint get in :(

I’m gonna buck the trend here and say you’ve been admitted. I’d actually say I’m at least 95% sure you were and even though Stanford Axess is buggy, that’s why you know you were admitted lol, it generally would give you less information not more. The way you describe it (first incomplete, complete, and then admitted makes perfect sense). Though there’s only one way to know for sure I’d strongly bet you’re in. Good Luck to the rest of you!

has anyone else had this work? i only know of two people so far. and did you get the same message?

Well I’m a freshman here at Stanford now, but I remember a few times when I was using axess seeing it say admitted under application status.

yeah, thats the only explanation.

gratz if you got in

It was not a glitch.

Lololol

lol we knew 8 days earlier than 3 days early.

and we didn’t even get to enjoy it!
