Stanford admit rate for class of 2023 drops slightly to 4.34%

Stanford released its CDS today so admission statistics are finally available. Admit rate dropped to 4.34% from 4.36% for the class of 2022

Wow, so for the Class of 2023 Stanford is ahead of Harvard in all three major admissions categories:

Admit Rate: 4.50% 4.34%
Yield: 81.7% 82.5%

Harvard’s yield rate has been in the high 70s/low 80s for a long time now. But Stanford’s yield rate was 55.1% as recently as 1999. Amazing how it has improved over the past two decades.
