I got 3 Bs my freshman year are my chances at stanford completly over?
I'm an African American Female, and both my parent are immigrants from Africa. I was born in the US, but I have dual citizenship. Would this be good enough diversity to help me slightly?

I have Really low income. (raised by single mother with 3 other siblings, parents are separated and my dad left and never returned) will definently apply for FA. will this help or hurt?

I'm a cheerleader at my high school, and we go to competitions. its considered a sport in my school system. thoughts?

Taking my first AP during sophomore year, US Gov. Advice?
Really interested in Communications, and or international relations major. Are these competative majors at stanford? Should I declare it on my Common app?
which common app essay should I chose? should i draw more or less attention to my background?

Went to my parents immigrant country the summer before 9th grade, missed first 2.5 weeks of school. should i tell Stanford this?

I live in Maryland, and will probably never get the chance to visit Stanford before applying. Does this hurt me badly?
