<p>sorry.. but my guess is 60-65% chance for UCB and 15% baseline for Stanford since i dont know your EC's and thats the most important. (heck, everyone who applies to stanford basically have 1550+/800/800/800/4.4+GPA...) =\

<p>My #1 choice is UC Berkeley.</p>
<p>As for Stanford, my father forced me to apply there, as well as to MIT, and he was not being very compliant with giving me parental information (i.e. what schools he went to, his birthplace, etc), so I angrily completed both applications (Stanford and MIT) in one day--yes, I wrote all the essays and other such material in one day. However, for my UC application, I spent a couple weeks making sure everything was picture perfect.</p>
<p>I was rejected from MIT, as expected, and I'll probably be rejected from Stanford, but who knows, and who cares =P</p>

<p>Nio. Your stats are fine. I just think there are a ton of kids with your stats applying to Cal and that they will depend on essays to determine who they take.</p>

<p>he'd probably go to UC berkeley...he said it was his first choice...his dad will try to make him go to stanford though..but from what he said about applying there, I doubt he'll be accepted (no offense to him, he said he applied recklessly)</p>
