He is a hispanic student that graduated a year early from high school and earned 27 college credits while still in high school.
He will be attending a top community college (the same college where he took classes) for another year.

HS GPA: 3.6
College GPA: 3.6

Tests
He has not taken the SAT nor any SAT IIs yet

EC
He is part of the Student Ambassadors here at our college
He has an internship at a local motorcycle shop
He has recieved numerous scholarships 4-6k in scholarships
He has worked since he was 15 to put himself in school 20 to 30 hours a week

Stanford is his top choice, what do you think are his chances?
He will be 17 when he is ready to transfer! He has done all this he is only 17 years old!

I just wanted to add one more thing. Both his grandparents are stanford alum. His grandfather was the director of oncology at NIH and still donates to Stanford.

He really wants to go to school in California. If you do not think he will get into Stanford do you have any other recommendations for someone interested in going to school in california and doing a major of economics or recording engineer.

What about berkely? USC? Any other ideas? Any other good colleges (we do not really know about many colleges in California).

Transferring isn't easy. Despite being Hispanic and being underprivileged (I'm just taking a guess since he worked that much to put himself through school), a 3.6 in high school and even community college probably isn't Stanford-caliber.

Thanks for that reply. He is really trying to raise his GPA by retaking classes as well. But we are also considering other schools in CA for him.
