it says awaiting membership confirmation

I received my official letter in the mail today, since I only live an hour or two away from the campus. No financial aid offer yet. Maybe they’re going to mail those on the 15th, as originally planned? I suppose it doesn’t really matter, as long as my Axess account gets fully activated before then.

Do we get a personal letter from our Regional Adcom, addressing their feelings on our app specifically? If so, does anyone know when that comes?

And also, does anyone know when FA info comes? I can’t find it on Axess

haha i read this thread then ran outside to check my mail and there it was! i too live a couple of hours away

it says FA comes back April 1

That’s the official announcement. The estimate should be coming any day, I think.

oh thats cool

Hey guys, could you please also tell which program you got in,and some stats like gpa and SAT scores?

Are we supposed to get FA stuff yet? I have not even completed FASFA or sent Stanford anything related to FA yet… Am I missing something that I should turn in? (I guess I’m not really expecting to get any aid anyways, so maybe I didn’t put that much of a focus on it…)

Maybe I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure that Stanford doesn’t have different programs - it’s just one college that you apply to and get accepted or rejected. As for the scores and stats, you can see an in-depth break down of each applicant (who has posted) and their decision on this thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/stanford-university/824187-official-stanford-university-rea-decisions-class-2014-a.html

IDK about typical REA applicants, but QuestBridge applicants were sent their Financial Aid packages on December 5th.

My question: Does Stanford have any accelerated programs [track] for engineering and business etc. ?

According to the Stanford official who visited my school, they do not have any official programs like this, but will definitely help you to get the education and degree that you want. I know that five year masters are very popular there, so I’m sure that you could end up with a BSE and an MBA in about 5 years, which is as good as it gets.

Yes, but no QuestBridge student that I know (15 or so) has received the financial aid package yet. We also don’t have out IDs so we can make SUNet IDs :-(

i think non-QB REA admits are supposed to get Financial Aid info with the acceptance letters in the mail (if you sent CSS by Nov 15)

The same goes for QB applicants, actually. We’re waiting on our estimates in the mail as well, but also our acceptance letters (since we get a Match notification via email, not an acceptance letter).

you haven’t gotten your acceptance letters by mail yet either?

so apparently it is 753 admits out of 5566 applicants
13.5%
higher than last year

Our packages were supposed to be mailed last Saturday (December 5th). But no one, not even the Matches in California, has received anything. I’m going to call on Monday morning.

thanks for getting the exact stats NJDS :)

any internationals? which country?
