Stanford class of 2014

It is tough enough being an international student… but to laos have low STA scores… that is a bummer indeed. You need better test scores before you do anything else if u really want to sand at chacne at Stanford.

I agree with ExcitedG. Like other selective universities, Stanford is unpredictable since they have a choice of the lot. Just being a valedictorian, student body president, SAT ace will not guarantee admission. It really boils down to what can you offer Stanford that other students cannot which Stanford is in need of. Stanford wants to get a good mix of oustanding students in various fields so find the thing you excel in and sell it to Stanford in your essay. Oh, you better be good also in writing in order to be able to keep your reader’s attention. They go through hundreds, if not thousands, of essays and believe me, they’ve seen it all and can detect a fake or insincerity from a mile away.

If you can show devotion to your ECs, have insightful essays, and get good recs, it will compensate for your scores  Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/816473-chance-aa-female-elite-schools-updated-stats.html</a> <–Include Yale also!
