Stanford Class of 2017 RD Discussion

Congrats again litotes on the Yale EA acceptance :D

And congrats unicameral2013 on the MIT EA acceptance!!

has anyone not received his/her stanford account yet? I submitted my app on 1/1, and I have yet to hear anything from stanford.

No, they’re out of the office until the 7th, tomorrow.

thanks guys! wishing you the best on all your forthcoming decisions!

Thanks! Hopefully they will be good decisions :)

AeryGold, I requested them for on-campus, but i’m living in SRD!

yo thanks guys :D

haven’t gotten a stanford account tracking thing yet either…

unicameral2013, what part of texas are you from?
If you’re not from Texas, my bad. I totally must’ve read a post wrong.

Yeah I’m from texas. Don’t really want to get more specific on here, I’ll PM you.

unicameral2013 I’m so jealous of you for your admission from MIT (congratz btw). I’m an international student so I applied RD. I’ll probably not get in but what the heck. I’ve almost finished Chicago additional essays and rec after my deferral, hoping that would help me in RD. MIT and Stanford are my dream school while I love economics curriculum in Chicago. I just wish I get into just one of them :(

You’re an international student??? So jealous.

lol? Being an international student is a disadvantage in every aspect in U.S university matriculation, especially for top schools…

But you can go to school out of the US!!! :D

I applied to an international school haha.

“But you can go to school out of the US!!!”

But so can you!!!

lol Dune01 yes

Wait: I actually applied to TWO international schools.

:D

CantConcentrate, where’d you apply abroad?

Yes, I could, but I mean it would be so awesome to be outside of the US. Being an international student makes it that much easier. I would apply international, but my situation is complicated. I don’t think I would be allowed.

University of British Columbia - Canada.
Yale-NUS - Singapore.
