@DominicBayer Nope, for now it’s all speculation since Stanford released decisions during this week last year. We’ll know for sure once they post on Twitter.

D is from the east coast with a 36 ACT. Has anyone else heard they rarely, if ever, accept east coast people?
@cutters I think they’ve considered all angles and made decisions based on that. As far as I know, wherever your daughter lives, she has equal chance to get into stanford.

Thanks guys if I get into Harvard I’m going and I’ll immediately turn down the offer to Stanford so you guys have an extra spot open for grabs. I love Stanford but I’ve been dreaming of Harvard since I was 5 and could comprehend what college is. Good luck to all!!! If not Harvard then Stanford 2020!! Hope to see all you lovely people there!

I would trade in a heartbeat. Sad that it’s not possible. Harvard is my dream and everyone’s counting on me; my Girl Scout troop, club, family, friends, guidance counselor. If I don’t get in I’ll be heartbroken and desolate
It’s really interesting to me how different our preferences can be! Especially during this application process I found myself not applying to a few schools that shocked my friends because it was “their dream school” but to me the atmosphere just didn’t feel like me. Anyways, just some random thoughts. Anyone feel the same?

@tuty143 I actually find it really interesting too. I have no care for Harvard, but I am a die hard fan of Stanford. I have friends that are the complete opposite. And there are people here that are like that too.
I liked many of the schools I applied to; but just made it my goal to get a college acceptance. Now I’m basking in the joy of getting accepted to Northwestern and won’t be disappointed if I get rejected from HYPS.
