@chipshark Correct me if wrong, do you know those 10-15 people who’ve got an interview or only by numbers? If you personally know them, then actual number may be bigger but if later, then they must have been selective.

And how many do they finally end up selecting from India?
Harvard matriculates about 5 students per year from India (divide the numbers above for the College by four). Haven’t seen any statistics for Stanford but it’s probably not too dissimilar. Also, I don’t know how Stanford being need aware for internationals affects the situation.
Why you are dividing the number by 4
Because it is the total number of students at the College in all four grades.

Hey guys, is it just me or is there no way to check the financial aid documents needed? There’s generally a section on portals for FA, but this one only has application stuff. Am I missing something? I want to make sure my app is 100% complete!
If you’re from California you won’t get an interview. The rest of the country all depends on if an alumnus is in your area and is apart of the “interview team” for the admissions department. Not having an interview in no way reflects on your application. Good luck
How did you guys send an awards update to Stanford? Should I email my regional rep or the admissions office? I’d prefer to email my regional rep so that I can make the email more personal, but I don’t want it to get accidentally forgotten or tossed aside. I found an update form that applicants from previous years used (http://admission.stanford.edu/errors/404page.html) but it no longer works.

I really don’t think international interviews are based on availability of alumnus nearby
