Stanford Class of 2022 Discussion/Decisions

Hi @Nomorelurker same here! Hoping for an acceptance for DS18 at the end of the month. He applied to biomedical engineering. How about you and others on this thread?

@lovespink International Relations and African Studies

Prospectively majoring in Mechanical Engineering and maybe Applied Mathematics or East Asian Studies

I literally have not received any emails from Stanford since applying.

Haven’t taken the time to glance through the entire thread for this, but does Stanford send out some easy denial emails before April 1st?

@alove2018 no

No more likely letters, only RD. The wait seems looooong.

Does anyone know what time decisions come in?

@Palaksh RD comes out 04-01-2018 C.E.

Good luck to everyone.

@PF09_Recon that’s a sunday. Decisions will come out March 30th 4 pm Pacific time.

@MaybeHarvard2022 hmmm I guess you have a point about it being Sunday… but I was just going by the time table here: https://admission.stanford.edu/apply/deadlines/index.html

Anyway, they gotta post it sometime then. #nervouswreck

Don’t worry @PF09_Recon It’s just an estimate.

Did any of your counselors get an email today from Stanford about midyear reports? Everything on my applicant portal is checked off, yet they still emailed my counselor today

@LondonVall Not me. But, it may be a positive indicator that your application wasn’t outright rejected. Though I don’t like to make assumptions… it is pretty close to the decision day. fingers crossed

Not an applicant but this kid in my town is now known as “the kid who got rejected from Stanford” bc after EA results he posted on Snapchat a video of him burning all his Stanford stuff. Highly recommend you don’t do that, unless getting rejected from Stanford is what you want to be known for.

what’s your anticipation that how many Indian students might recieve interview as the no of trained alumnis are less.

I live in a non interview kind of area but I still recieved it. Should I think of it as a good sign?

@Loganrohan04 I don’t think it means much unfortunately. 2 guys in my school got interviews while three others did not…but all 5 ended up being rejected.

where u from @2022AB2102

an interview doesn’t mean you will be accepted. many have never interviewed and got in!

Kids in Los Angeles County don’t qualify for interviews i guess, so sigh
