Okay - they say acceptance is the first step…
I now acknowledge that I am one of “those” parents. I think I’m more nervous about my daughter’s application than she is. She applied REA for Fall 2019 and we are on pins and needles - waiting is the worst!
Just looking for confirmation as to how she will receive notification. Will she get an email? Does the email tell her of the decision, or does she have to sign into the portal to get the decision?
@BrendaP Stanford usually tweets the time and date they will release decisions. On that date and time, usually 4PM Pacific Time, just log into the portal and the decision will be available. A email usually follows saying decisions are available 30min-1hr after decisions are actually released.

Ahhh I can’t believe this! I’m applied because I thought why not! But I have like a 1% maybe less of getting in with my sat score! Lol but it’s exciting to see so many promising students wait for a decision! Good luck to you all! Sending good energy! Two more days!

i think it’s easier for future applicants to see it separate (at least that’s what they did last year) people post just the decisions in here, but post their stats and other info in the results thread
