My neighbor’s son transferred into Yale as a Soph after going to Univ of Colorado. So don’t underestimate transferring or applying to places like USC, etc for Spring starts.
Also, the Ivies are looking for huge diversity - racial, economic, unique talents, athletes, legacy helps AND they want you at the top of your HS class with a real love of academic learning. So be realistic about these IVY apps with 45-50k applicants snd only 2000 or less spots.
Don’t be hard on yourselves. Where you go to college does NOT define you. There are plenty of wonderful colleges where you will get a great education and have lots of friends and fun! Go have some ice cream!!
