Has anyone gotten an interview for RD as yet?

I have a major typo in my college essay, should I submit a request to have it corrected. If so how do I do that.

I put “allowing me to how to speak to a further” instead of “allowing me to speak to a further” thoughts?

Does anyone know if Stanford will accept an additional letter of rec? (besides the two teacher, on optional). The optional rec we were waiting for did not come in time. There is nowhere to upload on the portal, would having the reccomender email it to admissions be a bad thing?

I am worried since my son wrote about his disability ( learning disability) in essay
He is special education student (iep) .
Some college consultants said don’t disclosure his situation. But if we didn’t disclose this , he could not excuse about his bad academic portion.
He was good at SAT ( 1580) He is highest gpa probably but he didn’t report AP scores ( he didn’t do well so he didn’t report all) .
Maybe colleges don’t consider it…

My son got an email for an interview yesterday.

So the Stanford website says RD should get decisions by April 1st, is there an exact date/time when these decisions are released? Just marking decision dates on my calendar.

I have twins. One has interview, the other one does not. Should I be concerned? Does every applicant get interview?

From Stanford web site
First-year applicants who attend high school in an interview area and apply through the Restrictive Early Action (REA) or Regular Decision (RD) rounds may be invited to an optional interview.

  • If you attend high school in an eligible location and have not been contacted by an interviewer, it is due to alumni availability in your area.
  • Interview opportunities are offered throughout the first few weeks of November (REA) and from early January to mid-February (RD).
  • Please make sure you check your spam folder and the email address provided in your application.

Hi, I have sent my mid year report , but it doesn’t show in the portal checklist. Is this normal?

Hello guys!

I recently got deferred from Stanford and I thought this would be a good forum for all such kids out there to discuss allied processes and just overall have fun. Let’s get started and interact!

Same for me but other colleges have updated. So I’m thinking just processing time.

Same here, but I’m still wanting to get in. I don’t understand what exactly my application might lack too.
