Nope
So I was checking the D-Day astrology on āwithdraw buttonā āupdateā etc representing an acceptance and I have proof of it not being true from a girlās video on YT (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5jpuqge7V4&ab_channel=EshaGupta) that got in:
As you can see, she has the withdraw button and the update button but got in (proof in next image)
Someone with a hidden join and posting history made the same exact claim on the Bowdoin topic that was of course not true either. Whether it is just people trying to get a reaction or a common myth I donāt know.
SpongeBob? Oh thatās how you hid her info haha!
Itās from the Youtube video lol
I donāt understand??
Iām saying there is this myth that update button = waitlist
no withdraw + no update = accept
no update + withdraw there = deny
This is not true and the video proves it
Weāre on the same page and I wrote nothing that contradicted that or suggested otherwise. I was commenting on the fact that I have seen at least several posts now for different schools making the same obviously false claim, which means either some posters are trying to mess with applicants (you canāt use the common word for that on this forum), or its one of those general urban legend things.
Ahh right right. I just didnāt understand what u said earlier
Just gotta wait 12 days for stanford
Is Decisions coming out April 1st? thatās a Saturday
probably 3/31, its usually the day after Ivy Day
on their website it says early April, could it be April 3rd? since April 1 is a Sat. has it always been day after Ivy Day?
Yes, I looked it up. it always the day after Ivy day, even when they announced on April 7th in 2021.
so it would be Friday March 31?
My daughter also did not get interview. We are from TX
My child didnāt either.
neither did mine. Illinois
No interview for us either.
It could just be me but it sounds like Stanford gives a lot less interviews than a lot of other schools
I had an interview in early March.
