<p>I think it depends a lot on where you want to be. "Stanford" has more cachet in CA, and anything "Ivy League" carries more weight in the east.</p>
<p>Stanford seems like the obvious choice. Their programs are universally better, the atnosphere is better, its closer to home for you, but not too close, nicer people, more oppertunities (just raised another billion for undergraduate education), and a whole different league of prestige.</p>
<p>Slipper got his MBA @ Columbia? how about that...</p>
<p>Though I suppose that fits in with my own feelings about Columbia in that it would be a better grad school than undergrad college (and I'll be happy to attend SIPA or Journalism someday)..</p>
<p>A billion here, a billion there...even mid-tier ivy Penn can raise billions.</p>
