These are really all good choices for you. You have great scores and all of your ec’s seem solid. You should be good. PLEEEEEEEEASE CHANCE ME BACK? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1014347-chances-stanford-cornell-cmu-washu.html.

Stanford: Pretty sure it’s possible. Just make sure to have some amazing essays!
Cornell: Very possible.
Everything else: Definitely in.

Chance back?

Stanford is definitely a reach, as it is for most if not all applicants. Cornell is STILL a low reach. imo, because of the very competitive applicant pools at all Ivy schools.

I’m assuming I’d fall on the lower end of stanfords applicant pool ec wise and maybe middle of the pack with test scores?

Bump for the night!

Test score wise for Stanford, you’re well within the top 25% or so that gets in. However, Stanford seems to care less about test scores, given that you’re within the top percentiles, and more about your entire application as a whole.

You’ve got as good of a shot as anyone does for Stanford though, I think it’s a reach for everyone unless you start a million dollar non-profit, find a cure for cancer, etc.

Yeah, I’m not getting my hopes up for stanford…I should at least be competitive for cornell engineering right? I’m not totally sure on how the admissions standards differ at each of cornell’s colleges.

bump 10char

more bumpage

rather delayed bump

Stanford- High reach (no surprise, reach for all, but high reach due to your EC’s)
Cornell- Low reach/High match
Michigan- Match (A match since you are OOS)
UIUC- Safety
Purdue- Safety

Stanford is quite a reach, Cornell is a medium reach, and you’re a fit at everywhere else.
