So, overall i believe my ECs are my strong point. i can give either SAT 1 or SAT 2 in October. So i could be applying to Stanford with either a 2250 SAT 1 and 730 & 680 SAT 2, or with a 2110 SAT 1 and 800 & 800 SAT 2.
What would be better ?

Looks good. Although schools may be inclined to take an out of state or country student due to diversity, class mix, finances, etc, there is also pressure for schools to accept local students.
Your EC is very strong.
Your SAT s are strong.
Your special strong points are the computer and high tech accomplishments.

Apply and make sure your essays are good.

Interesting EC but your scores are below average among the pool of applicants.

If you have time then you should take both, cause being honest your standardized test scores are not up to scratch for these elite American Universities. SAT 1 is a little low, show aim at least higher then 2250, and your subject test scores are notmhigh enough as well (>750 at least), and as the two other guys have stated, your ECs are interesting, however I’m not sure the Olympiads you mentioned are prestigious (never heard of them here in QLD). Have you got accomplishments in the other Australian comps such as the AMC, AMO and the UNSW assessments? They could help.

@billcsho‌ I’ve been told that by many people on here, but I I mean the class highest was an 81% and i ende up with a 78% so i’m not sure how I can put that across. Our school is very tough with these internal exams you see. Anyways, I should be getting much better predicted grades, so I’ll hope for the best.

@blu5959‌ Yeah OK. So I can’t be applying early anywhere.
These Olympiads are the biggest things in my country, which is in itself pretty big (India) . Almost every school participates. Mate i don’t live in Australia so I don’t really see how I should be giving those comps. :hushed:

Look at this page:

hm, so how does stanford get to know my class rank ?

Your ECs are very strong and very interesting, so much so that they might help to make up for your comparably poor test scores. Your GPA situation makes it hard to tell whether you match up, however, I would say that Stanford is more obtainable for you than other people. Still, it is an Ivy League school, and isn’t really a “match” for anyone.
