I honestly recommend never taking anything Byerly or PosterX say, about any school, seriously.

haha I agree with that, shark_bite!
oooh I wasn't saying someone very interested in science would definitely choose Caltech over Stanford. Stanford science is awesome! (I'm interested in science) ;) haha. I only know one guy who got into both schools, and he chose Stanford (woot)

Yes, Stanford is definitely one of the top ten schools for science, in this case, ranking sixth:

"By this measure, Caltech scored the highest average placement, with a mark of 3.14, followed by Harvard at 3.40, then Duke and Yale (4.50 each), MIT (4.67), Stanford (5.36), UC Berkeley (5.63), UC San Diego (5.78)..."

Of course, if you look at a different measure from the same website, you find
Rank Institution Top Ten Apperances
1 Harvard University 15
2 Stanford University 11
3 MIT 9
4 Univ. Calif., San Diego 9
5 Yale University 8
6 Univ. Calif., Berkeley 8
7 Columbia University 8
8 Caltech 7
9 University of Michigan 7
10 Duke University 6

The numbers posterX gives ignore categories in which a school does not even rank.

A typical "posterX" trick.

Note the Science Watch headline:

"Harvard Rides High in Latest "Top Ten" Research Roundup"

hey posterX, check the date to ur resourses buddy. ur rankings came in from 2002. isn't that a little old? and how the heck does a sane person believe that yale is ranked higher than stanford and berkley in science? haha

Rapport, please elaborate what "KILLER ESSAYS" are like. I'm sure many people would want to know. I especially am interested, since judging one's essay is a subjective task. I am really curious to hear how well a high school student could write. You don't have to post the essays. Just describe.
