Your chances are very good. Stanford isn't a slam dunk for anyone and it is considered somewhat fickle in its admissions. That said, you have good awards, good EC, and excellent scores, the AP ones are particularly impressive (did you take the scored ones as a sophmore?). Make sure you convey your passion well in your essays (so many activities can sometimes look like a cynical ploy to get in by joining a bunch of groups). You also benefit from living in Oklahoma. Schools like to be able to claim they have students from all 50 states :D

Good luck. Check out the wiki of last year's SCEA to see our stats and decisions.

I think you have an excellent chance for Stanford EASC. Your academics are outstanding, especially your SAT score, and extra-curriculas are quite good.

As the above poster said, make sure you write good essays!

Wow, you have a great chance. EA only makes it better. btw, how much of an effect will the new writing score have on admissions to Stanford? I have similar stats 1600 M+V but only 710 Writing due to the volatile curve (5 grammar errors).

sweet. stanford sounds awesome. it's right by the beach and good academics. I'm visiting it this summer :D

You have a very, very good chance.

+'s: 2380 SAT, 4.0uw, 35 ACT, superb courseload with advanced science/math focus. All of those are REALLY good. Also, you're from Oklahoma. And the science research.

-'s: your poor EC's. Outside of the research, you have nothing of interest. Join some clubs!

I think if you go SCEA you will get in.

our school..."(Has no clubs, no sports, only StuCo)"
and no they won't let us start any. I've tried.

Were you in the summer science for seniors program at Baylor? Except... not as a senior? I didn't know that they admitted younger high schoolers.

it's five weeks during the summer for rising seniors
www.baylor.edu/summerscience

Oh I see. Never mind, I thought you had completed it before this summer or something. I'm in the Summer Science for Seniors program, except it's at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston instead.

i think you have a great chance - but you must realize that asian-american chances (being from outside of california) makes it much more difficult. but i think even with that, you are very competitive =P

i think your EC's are strong enough and that although you have less ECs, you will be able to point out more dedication to your specific ECs. good luck on your application

k, SAT II scores

Chemistry: 770 :-(
Physics: 800
Math IIc: 800

Those scores are good enough. I wouldn't bother retaking them...
