STANFORD EARLY ACTION and others.... opinions PLEASE! i'm not your typical applicant

SO i know i had posted these stats a few weeks ago but i want to know what other people think not only about stanford but some of the other schools i'm applying to. If you've already told me you dont need to post again but any input/ideas for other colleges i might like (based on the other colleges im applying to) would be appreciated!!!

varisty cross country, 11

I own my own line of handbags/accessories

launched an FDA investigation in 2004-2005 won numerous national awards and appeared on Good morning america and numerous front page news articles

looking to major in business/languages/government/possibly pre law

also scholar athlete and i'm on honor roll

I know my test scores are kinda low but what are my chances?

Applying:
Stanford EA
Tufts
Dartmouth
Cornell (legacy)
Pomona
Claremont McKenna
Franklin and Marshall
Colgate
Middlebury
Vassar (?)
Amherst(?)

go to cornell since u have legacy. Ure ACT are ure downfall imo.

The FDA investigation sounds very interesting. The handbag line too. If these make you really special, then who cares about the scores.

Your scores and academics might hurt you a little, but your ECs sound great and if your essay is about one of them or something else that's unique, you have a chance at all the schools you listed. Stanford and Dartmouth might be slight reaches but you have good chances at both.

for stanford everything has been submitted ...

my "intellectual vitality" essay is really good and definitely different

my common app essay is really good... its very funny and i highly doubt they've ever read anything like it

i wrote my short answer for the common app about running marathons

Buuuuuummmppp!!

fake/10?

shouldn't you be a public figure if this really happened?

Call the crew team coach at Stanford - you have a much better chance as a recruited athlete.

actually you sound like someone Stanford would admit. I know a girl with nearly identical gpa and test scores who held a patent on some small thing she invented and she was in last year with a lot weaker EC's.

TRUST me its not fake... i'd give you the link to all of the articles/the good morning america segment but i dont want to give out my name over the internet. i know its odd but you've really gotta trust me on this. i couldnt be making this up. i'm not like the other people on this site who try and build up their resumes and what not.... i actually did do a science project that launched an FDA investigation, i was interviewed by charlie gibson on good morning america

if you still dont believe me i dont care but its still true... the colleges will be receiving the news paper articles/links

and the handbag line is just a local thing.. not national or anything its just a small business i started and made a couple hundred bucks doing as a side project

i'm too small to be recruited unfortunately... im only 5' 2'', i'd like to be a coxswain in college though

buuuuuuuummmpp
