Bump. 10char.

I would say you have a good chance at Stanford. Its really hard to chance because of its selectivity but I would not be surprised if you got in.(if that puts things in perspective)

please chance back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1564465-penn-state-transfer.html</a></p>

Anyone else? Please?

If your SAT2 are not very impressive, you probably don’t want to send them in.

If you ask me, you’re probably set (at least, as set as you could be for a school as selective as Stanford). As I’m sure you know, nothing’s guaranteed when it comes to colleges of this caliber, but everything looks great; the extracurricular resume is excellent, the GPA’s nearly flawless, and your ACT is quite high – and all that on top of a URM hook.

I’ll go with a mid-high match.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1563740-chance-match-me.html</a></p>

I’m not sure how selective Stanford is, but I’d say you have a very high chance of getting in. You have amazing stats.

I think you have definitely a very competitive applicant. However, Stanford does have many applicants as qualified as you are. If URMs plays a factor at Stanford then I think it would be you hook and it will be just enough to push you through. If not, you are still a great applicant, but it would be a reach as it is for anyone.

Thanks Chance Back:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1532089-chance-me-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

OP. You are a very competitive applicant to Stanford…but, remember even if you are applying as URM…you will have to be the best of the best URMs from which Stanford will be able to choose from…as it is the MOST difficult school to get into…it still remains a reach for all. Give it your best and good luck!

Stanford probably a low reach/reach. Good ECs, Good act and gpas, however SATIIs are a bit underwhelming

You have a great chance on getting in.I mean you have great stats. You certainly are a great candidate for stanford.

speaking of people with lower scores. Im interested in seeing what you guys think of my so called “stats” for Stanford. I love the school honestly. Because once you see my scores and what i’m working with ur probly gonna think what is this girl even thinking of doing applying to such an institution. But regardless. I’m still applying. And i want to know for which i should apply EA or RD? Because if I’m rejected which there IS A STRONG ALMOST DEFINITE YES THAT I WILL BE BECAUSE OF MY TEST SCORES. I’d rather know in dec than hold on to false hope for too long:( u know. rid the bandaid off sooner.

Okay so lets begin:
I’m an african american woman. No real economic strife, no really wild family stories. But my dads from uganda, like came here when he was 17. but i know they wont care about that, that’s just syk. I go to a private catholic school.
genertic.

gpa weighted: 4.27
rank 14th and I’m in my top 10%

ACT (now we must admit Ive come a long way)
oct 2012: 22 23 eng 23 red 23 math 20 sci 7 writing
june 2013:25 30 eng 20 red 25 math 23 sci 8 writing
sept 2013: 28 33eng 32 red 24 math 23 sci 10 writing

no sat. I plan on doing the sat sub for eng in dec but thats really all i can take ive run out of time. i wish i would have taken them with my ap tests, but i hadnt the slightest clue they existed.

straight as junior and so far senior year.
Aps i only didnt take bio and calc.
I took psych us history chem and physics and honors english. I took honors math until junior year because I got fed up with it and decided i wasnt going to be an engineer.
